IITs that offer Post graduation in Geology

        Indian institute of technology or in short IITs are the most reputed & first choice autonomous public technical & research universities located all across India. There are about 23 IITs in total & they offer numerous programs in UG level as well as in PG level. Out of 23 IITs only 5 of them offer PG in Geology. 

They are-

1.  Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IITKGP)
2.  Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB)
3.  Indian Institute of Technology (Indian Schools of Mines), Dhanbad /  (IITISM)
4.  Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IITR)
5.  Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (IITBBS)

          Each year IITs conducted a common all india level online entrance test called JAM (Joint Admission Test for MSc) on rotational basis on behalf of MHRD, Govt. of India. Candidates showing remarkable performance in this examination will be able to get admission in these institutes.
